anyway the way i see this, there are 2 possibilities:
- onjit is cop and got a dangerous result when investigating orton
- onjit is consligiere, investigated orton who is non-mafia, and found he's in category B (photographer, vigilante, mafia goon, serial killer; all roles marked "dangerous" from a cop investigation) or G (milkman, arsonist, veteran, detective; three similarly "dangerous" roles plus detective who we know is dead)

i was going to propose we lynch orton now then lynch onjit tomorrow if orton flipped town and non-dangerous, but if the second situation holds and onjit is consligiere he could go "see? town-aligned but he was dangerous. i'm a cop, how was i supposed to know" and get away with it. though even then there'd be a (comparatively small) chance orton is a dangerous evil self-aligned role, i.e. serial killer or arsonist, and lynching him doesn't hinder town or mafia

per the roles doc if he's a cop and got a dangerous result there's a 2/3 chance orton is evil (or an 11/15 chance orton isn't town)

if a jester gets lynched they win (& get an unblockable kill), so if the point of the game is fulfilling one's wincon and preventing other factions from fulfilling theirs, jester would be on scum's hitlist (though relatively low down since they can't do anything until/unless they're lynched). if anything scum would want to defend jester so they don't get lynched before they get the chance to kill them
