Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

What's your ISP, give them a review, and would you recommend them?

The title is asking you to review your ISP really, I'll start!

I'm (unfortunately) stuck with century link, a company that boasts their high speed and quite reliable connection. That is not the case, I had not been into computer when we had started using this company's internet service so I had assumed the modem/ router was the issue. That is not the case, they just generally have slow and quite unstable internet. I'm paying 140$ without a bundle (200Mbps) and at max can only hit about 20-30Mbps, which as you know isn't a good connection for gaming and what not. I can't purchase spectrum due to their "range" (More like mediacom's monopoly) and they you aren't allowed to DMZ.

I'm giving them a 4/10, and would not recommend to a friend or relative.

-Thanks!

I'm with PlusNet, which (I think) is one of the cheaper ISPs in the UK
I get good internet speeds for the UK (just over 30Mbps down 5Mbps up)

And I would argue that you really dont need faster internet than that, you use hardly any when playing games, the only time it really matters is when downloading huge files or whatever. Gaming smoothness is more about ping and reliability than speed, you could have 1Gbps but if you have a 100+ms ping, or if it cuts out every few seconds, its going to feel slow

Fairpoint Communications

They're charging us $30 less than the other guys for 3x the speed (30mbps vs 10mbps) so can't really complain. Still only like 2mbps upload though which blows. My phone gets better upload speed.

Wait... Is this per month???
I assumed it was per year as that just sounds crazy for me, but after seeing ninjasupeatsninja's, maybe not...

currently I get mine through a university so I guess it depends on your definition of payment. Right now it's 100 mbps down, 110 up. When the campus isn't under load (summer vacation) I've seen 150-170 range for both.

they're alright, though there is random downtime

Yes that is a per month thing, I've threatened to quit using them but I just am blown off. It's cheaper than mediacom after a whole two years, so that's my only good reason.

Virgin w/ fibre.

110 down, 6 up, <10ms ping, £10/person/month.

I don't need upload. It's been flawless.

Spectrum
90 down 20 up for $40 a month
I live in NYC, so I'm most likely an outlier, but it's been pretty decent.

Ziggo
200 Mb down and 20 Mb up for about 60 euro (but this includes other services as wel)

Best thing tho is that we started with 60Mb but they continued upgrading it //ee.failforums.me/img/smilies/tongue
Consistent and never any downtime.

Spectrum (previously Charter, but mergers(tm)).
I'd say they're good enough. It's way better than centurylink which offers sub-10 mbps in my area. I just got a upgrade (30 dl to 60 dl) today. (For free. I think.)
Maybe I would recommend them. $74/mo (last time I checked) is currently what I pay.
