Rules / Information

-There are TWO categories - Any% and 100%
-Any% involves reaching the trophy as fast as possible.
-For Any%, only times below the gold time of 2:45 are eligible for prizes.

-100% involves collecting all coins (including blue coins) as fast as possible, regardless of finishing the level (touching the trophy or the diamond are not needed).
-For 100%, only times below 4:15 are eligible for prizes.

-Video evidence is required for both categories.
-Any kind of in-game skip, glitch etc. is completely fine to use.
-Obviously, if any type of client-side hack is used (such as teleporting to the end) then you're not going to be winning anything anytime soon.
The competition will end at midnight (UTC) on 11th May - 2 weeks from now, with prizes given out after.

-NO SWOOP

A program to record the run will be required, such as OBS. For manual timing of 100% runs, LiveSplit may be useful. You do NOT need an onscreen timer, as we can simply re-time the runs afterward, but it would help us out //ee.failforums.me/img/smilies/smile

Since timers may bring a small and unavoidable error, we may need to verify the time afterwards even if you do use a timer.

As long as the videos reach Kirby or Swiftfall, they are eligible (as long as they follow the rules.) If you wish to keep them private for some reason, let us know in PM. Feel free to post your run in this thread as well.

why the 100% reward is half of the any% if 100% is harder

speedruns are as hard as you make them, and i'm guessing any% will be more popular, so the bar would be set higher

vi1MnE.jpg i tired gettign diamond for ages but i kida gave up this is th ebest ive came sofar since the clocks cam ein the game stillwant to get it diamodnd though but every glitch i do liek skipping parts ect is sitll slow.. (i have a practise world)
