Will fix the coal issue when I get home. Just need to decide on a color for normal members. So far candidates are green and pure white. Pure white stands out enough from normal text that I'm okay with having it be on a link. Green is the color of friends in the member list so that'd at least make sense as far as a single color for members.
Why isn't blue an option? Carbon is the theme that doesn't have any issues so just make everyone's usernames look like carbon usernames.

Indigo is another option. The blue being used in carbon is pretty far from the purpleish shades and approaching the more cyanish shades, so it should be distinguishable from indigo. Indigo isn't a colour that's being used anywhere, so I think it could work. Might be difficult to read though.
Also I would prefer if the designer colour changed and we use carbon blue for members.
edit: look we can clearly distinguish between all the colours in this topic, seeing as we managed to pick a favourite.
